Fun in the Rain

Makayla and I were super boring today. We literally took zero (0) photos and just had a relaxing Tokyo Sunday. She “went for a rip” to a spa while I bussed to Shinjuku to hang out at Base Point again. I bugged the Mozilla Japan guys to see if I could harass their office, but it’s only open “to community” on Saturdays from 1pm-6pm. Depending on how much free time we have before our flight, maybe I’ll drop in for a bit next weekend.

Anyways, Base Point was neat. I had some kind of mexican-style rice ‘n stuff for lunch and was “productive” (looks like I’m maintaining the PHPStorm EAP Arch package now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

It was super clear that I’m a tourist on my trip back to the hotel. It was warm in the morning, so I had my super-Canada-summer shorts ‘n T-shirt on. The weather had different plans for the afternoon and poured rain. I didn’t bring an umbrella (and I wasn’t going to buy one, umbrellas are for people who don’t live in deserts) so I almost drowned in the rain.

I wouldn’t recommend the experience.
